What some of our happy clients say

Registered Massage Therapy

Registered Massage Therapists (RMT) treatment sessions are eligible to be charged and billed directly to health insurance providers and ICBC.

Registered Massage Therapists (RMT)'s are professionals providing integral treatment of those recovering from bodily injury. Consequently, RMTs may be called upon throughout the various stages of the legal process, in order to provide such services as preparing reports, providing professional opinions and testifying in civil court proceedings and administrative tribunals.

In British Columbia, over 75 percent of medical physicians regularly refer their patients to a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) - and they make these referrals because massage therapy is both accessible and effective in the treatment of their patients' conditions. This can be attributed to higher educational standards, research studies showing the efficacy of massage therapy, and an over-all increase demand for non-surgical and drug-free treatment options.

Non-Registered Massage Therapy

When looking for a massage therapist, it’s important to consider all your options. We have a wide variety of incredible registered and non-registered team members, and our goal is to help you make the best choice for your needs.

Non-registered therapists are highly skilled at delivering calming sessions focusing on relaxation and stress relief, however, non-registered massage therapists may not be suitable for those seeking advanced treatments tailored to address specific health issues or chronic pain conditions.

Non-registered massage therapists are more affordable than registered massage therapists but health benefits and ICBC cannot cover your treatment since they are not registered.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

Deep tissue massage is a hands-on body treatment that is more therapeutic. Aiding in the treatment of the musculoskeletal system and non-musculoskeletal conditions, this massage unblocks your energy and restores a healthy balanced flow.

It is beneficial for maintaining your physical health, as well as your emotional well-being.

SWEDISH MASSAGE

In Swedish massage, the therapist lubricates the skin with massage oil and performs various massage strokes to the body. These movements warm up the muscle tissue, releasing tension and gradually breaking up muscle "knots" or adhered tissues called adhesions. Swedish massage promotes relaxation, among other health benefits. A Swedish massage can be slow and gentle or vigorous and bracing, depending on the therapist's personal style and the patient’s preference.

HOT STONE MASSAGE

A hot-stone massage is a relaxing and rejuvenating therapy massage. Our authentic volcanic basalt stones are hand selected directly from the river bends of the Andes Mountains. They have not been cut or polished for them to retain their true healing properties and high heat retaining abilities that leads to a perfect massage journey.

Our practitioner will add the perfect amount of pressure and heat to the healing stone to relieve the tight muscles, to increase circulation, eliminate toxins, strengthen the immune system and calm the nervous system.

PREGNANCY MASSAGE

Everyone expects pregnancy to bring an expanding waistline, but many women are surprised by the other body changes that arise. As your uterus expands with the weight of the growing baby, there is more stress on the body. Most common body aches and pains occur in the lower back, but can also occur on your back, abdomen, groin area, thighs, joints, and near the pelvic bone. Our therapists will customize the massage to meet your individual needs.
