DIRECT BILLING

Yaletown Wellness is pleased to offer Direct Billing to selected insurance companies.   Once you provide us with your extended benefits insurance information, we can submit your treatment costs for direct reimbursement, saving you time, and reducing your out-of-pocket expenses. With direct billing, your insurance provider will provide the exact amount that your benefits plan will pay and any amounts remaining you are responsible for.

We offer this service at no extra charge. Please be aware that we cant guarantee direct billing at every appointment due to issues with the individual benefits plan, problems with the online submission web portal, or clinic logistic considerations.

At any time if your insurance company is not indicated above we will provide you with a receipt so you may claim directly through your provider's app, web submission, or mail-in options.


Your insurance company may ask us to ask clients to manually submit their invoices individually for reimbursement due to confidential coverages, if you don't know how to  submit your claim, you can see the tutorial videos on this page.

Extended health benefits vary from plan to plan.  Please check your benefits booklet or contact your insurance provider in order to be clear on the details of your coverage.

*We are not a listed provider with Empire Life Insurance and we do not provide direct billing supplementary MSP.

*We don't offer direct billing for Osteopathy.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR WITH YOUR INSURANCE BENEFITS

  • Does your insurance policy cover Acupuncture, Registered Massage Therapy, Osteopathy, Chiropractic, or Physiotherapy treatments?

  • Do you need a referral from a primary care doctor?

  • If yes, is your referral for a specific number of visits or a specific date limit?

  • Does your referral need to be reviewed by the insurance company first?

  • Is there a dollar limit per year?

  • Is there a limit to the number of visits allowed per year?

  • Does your insurance company cover your conditions?

The answers to these questions can often be found on your provider's client web portal or app. Or by contacting them with your plan information.
